I’m a multifaceted woman with a whole lotta fascinating, random and weird interests which I’m excited to explore through writing. Because of this, my posts will reflect those assorted interests and will range from intellectual opinion pieces to random (hopefully intelligent & insightful) ramblings about my newest favourite show (or latest book read) to political analyses on current affairs to social commentary on the latest happenings in pop culture.

Basically, through these musings, I’ll be sharing the fullness of my personality in writing— my silly and serious, my cerebral and playful, my knowledgable and ignorant and my so-much-more.

So full disclaimer: I have no theme or niche or whatever else it is that the blogger experts say you’re supposed to have when you’re blogging but I can guarantee you that there’s a method to my madness which you just might enjoy if you choose to keep reading (or maybe its just madness, the jury’s still out on that).

If for nothing else, my purpose with this space is to write meaningful and engaging content so that you takeaway a little something of value when you visit. My hope then is that forthcoming posts will be a valuable source of information, reflection, literal Laugh Out Loud moments, inspiration, motivation and encouragement. You know, the type of thought-provoking soul food that adds some happiness to your day #GoodVibes.

Also, if there’s something that you chime with in full agreement or respectful disagreement, I would be so happy to hear from you, learn from you and continue the conversation.

Last thing before you read on, in the spirit of full transparency, I’m currently learning this whole blogging thing (for the past decade, I’ve been doing mostly academic and industry writing which is a completely different beast of technical language and jargon) so as you read these posts you have a front row seat to the fun, fulfilling, messy and mystifying adventure that I’m on as I begin to discover and write in my own voice.

That means, yes, you may see typos occasionally or grammatical monstrosities or the tone and content of my posts may evolve with time. I’m not afraid to say it loud and proud that I. do. not. have. it. all. together! I don’t always know. I won’t always get it right. I’m figuring this blog out as I go which means half the time I’ll have zero clue what I’m doing. I’m as much of an expert in many things as I am a novice in others.

BUT best believe that as I learn to master this blogging thing, I’ll be enjoying the process and serving consistent excellence along with plenty of imperfection, authenticity and a large dose of humour. Let’s laugh and learn together as I write and you read, shall we?
